What makes me different?
No I'm not the kid down the street who can no doubt build you a Web site for less than $500. I've spent years talking to businesses about what they do and how a Web site can work for them. I spend the time needed to keep up with the latest technology and cross-referencing it with older technology. This enables browser and platform independent sites that lead to equal browsing experiences for your customers, regardless of their computer, software, connection speed or individual ability.
Sites I build are:
- well thought out
- usable
- accessible
- easily maintained
- visually appealing, and
- professional.
Professional Experience
I am currently working on several projects for the University
System of New Hampshire. I also
spent two and a half years employed full time for Plymouth
State
University,
as
the Web
Administrator. In this position
I was responsible for the entire www.plymouth.edu domain.
This includes over 100 Web sites that accommodate up to 19
target audiences by conveying information about the college
and providing services to an indefinite number of prospective
students and their parents, 3500 current students and their
parents and over 400 employees. On a daily basis, I am a
project manager, information architect, Web developer and
site maintainer.
Prior to this employment I have held positions as a traffic
manager for an advertising agency, technical consultant,
vice president, and account manager. With each
of these positions I developed skills as a project
manager, information architect, web developer and
business analyst. Each of these positions has strengthened
the knowledge I gained during the pursuit of my second Bachelor's
degree- a Bachelor's of Science degree in Information
Systems Management from the University of South Florida,
which I received in 2000.
